I am so excited to work with you! I just love getting to know my clients, chatting about your stage of life, and providing an easygoing, fun experience. Most importantly, all shapes, sizes, people, and families are welcome in front of my camera.
MY WHY
My love for photography started well before I purchased my own camera. Our home is filled with professional photographs. I am inspired by the photographers we have worked with and in awe of their ability to create a fun, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera, and I want to make you feel comfortable, even if you can’t stand having your picture taken (like my husband)! I know the worth and investment of professional photos and am so thrilled to be able to provide this to you.
Moments are fleeting, but with photos, we can relive them forever.
MY WORK
I try to make sessions feel relaxed and fun! The goal is for you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I pose and guide while also allowing for flexibility to capture candid moments (which is often necessary with young children). I describe my work as bright, colorful, and highly polished with rich color contrast. I also love to include complementary, timeless black & white photographs. I shoot outdoors in natural light (let that sun shine down upon us!).
MY TIDBITS
- I'm a mama to an energetic son who totally has my eyes! I also have a (self-described) nerdy husband and two very opinionated pups.
- I've lived in all parts of the country: Northeast, West, South, and now the Midwest (and I appreciate them all for different reasons).
- I'm a lover of ice cream with a crunch (I want all your local recommendations!).
- Reality TV is my guilty pleasure (IYKYK).
- I am a homebody at heart but love to stay busy creating, planning, or learning new things.
- Oh, and of course, Go Chiefs!
